Ahhhhh! Sorry, did I give you a fright?

This one comes from the bag of abstractness, and is designed to freak out, annoy, irritate, and perhaps entertain!

Any thoughts or reactions? I am sure somebody's struggling to control their gag reflex....lol.

hey drewble,

really cool effects. i like the way you have taken an ordinary object and really transformed it into a unique subject. did you invert this in ps? how did you achieve these effects?
Hi Andrew. I hope you are doing well. I have tried this a couple of times using PhotoImpression, but I don't think I had the right subjects. This actually works very well, it looks like a microscopic pic of plankton or some othe miniscule sea creature. Very well done. Regards, Neil.

interesting.....it looks like you were photographing the reflection in a puddle.......while the flower power space ship is about to land on your head........its to early for me.......

Yeah I know what you mean about my site.......at least it allows you to leave messages sometimes....it has banned one or two of my friends...... even though I have nominally got the security filters set to off.......I'll have to have a go at it soon......sorry!!

Cheers Jez XX
I think this is an interesting image, you have done well to isolate the flower against a plain background.

As you say controversial. As you know I am all in favour of experimentation. The critisism that is normally leveled at this sort of image is "anyone can twiddle the PS filters till they come up with something" and to some extent I think it is true. However I think you right to put this up to test the water.

There is a roll for PS filters but I think they have to be used in such a way that the viewer is gobsmacked. That is you leave tham wondering, how did they do that! This usually means experimenting with layers and blend modes, opacity, meging other images etc.

Interesting, I wonder if this is a 'bee's eye view'?
